Ordered the brisket plate and the loaded brisket potatoes. The brisket potatoes were great and would definitely order again! The brisket is superb. Smoked to perfection. We ordered it half marbled, half lean. My only complaint were the sides. They weren't seasoned enough even though the green beans were very fresh. Overall I would definitely come back.

Top notch service. We visited on a beautiful Saturday night so you can imagine it was very crowded with people enjoying the weather. The hostess was great. Our wait was spot on. Professional and friendly service. Amazing food. One of our favorite places!

The food was super delicious. For me to be picky about BBQ food this is probably hands down the best Southern BBQ food in all of Atlanta. The server was very attentive. We had a party of 23 people and food came out fast and server was nice. She made my first experience welcoming. I'll definitely be back again! Our party had a room to ourselves so they do host for big parties. Definitely worth trying out if you are in the area. Now I don't have pictures of the ribs but the ribs were tender and juicy and came right off the bones without getting meat stuck in your teeth. The sausages was very tasty so much flavorful than any other sausage I ever had. When you choose a side I definitely recommend the collar greens

While visiting the area, we decided to stop by Smokejack BBQ in Alpharetta--and I'm so glad we did! We were tired and almost headed back to the hotel for dinner, but this experience made it totally worth it. The restaurant is very spacious, with a well-thought-out layout, wonderful decor, and a clean, welcoming vibe. They also have metered parking in the front and a parking lot in the back, making it super convenient! Our server, Amy, was exceptional from start to finish! Friendly, personable, and patient, she guided us through the menu and made sure we got the best of what they offer. With her recommendations, we ordered: * 16 oz Blue Moon * 6 Wings * Double Cheeseburger * 1/2 lb Burnt Ends Plate * French Fries * Potato Salad w/ Bacon * Banana Pudding Everything was seasoned to perfection and packed with flavor! The mac and cheese and the potato salad with bacon were true standouts--some of the best I've ever had. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, leaving us stuffed yet somehow still making room for the banana pudding Amy suggested. It was creamy, decadent, and the perfect way to end the meal. I'd highly recommend Smokejack BBQ to anyone in the area, and we'll definitely be back. If we end up moving down here, I have a feeling this spot will be a regular go-to! Next time, there are a few more items on my list to try: Cherry Smoked Old Fashioned, Collard Greens, Brisket, Smoked Pork Sausage, Smoked Boneless Chicken Thighs, Loaded Nachos with Brisket, Brunswick Stew, and more. Can't wait!

I found this place on yelp as one of the top places to eat OTP. It did not disappoint! It's right in downtown Alpharetta, which is a great area. There is parking behind the restaurant, there's also a paid parking lot right behind that very close. I sell the bar since I was alone, the service was great. I had a great local beer from Cherry Street. The food was phenomenal! I got to call Moe. I got the combo with smoked turkey, Cajun sausage, pulled pork, and burnt ends. For sides, I got the corn pudding and slaw. They burn ins were really good, but that Cajun sausage and smoked turkey were fire! The pork was just OK. The corn pudding was very good. Overall, I had a really great experience with a really good meal and good service. A large restaurant, with great ambience. I will definitely visit this place again!

We hadn't been to Smokejack in ages, but we decided to stop in on a whim last week and it was lovely! We sat on their pet-friendly front patio, and our server, Sophie, was kind and attentive. The front patio is small and plain, but has a great view of the city green space! We ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, Brunswick stew, and my husband got their special which was a chicken finger sandwich. We also ordered plain chicken for our dog. It was all good, and the prices were really reasonable compared to some other downtown Alpharetta spots ($10 for a pulled chicken sandwich is great!) We need to visit this place more frequently because it was delicious & a great value.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and forgot how much I love this downtown Alpharetta staple! It has been way too long since my last visit, but I will certainly not let that much time pass in between my next. I honestly think this restaurant has been here since my family and I moved to the area in the early 00's, and that's saying something. They've certainly renovated, but the menu has stayed just about the same and the food has never disappointed. If you are looking for delicious bbq in the Alpharetta area, Smokejack should be high on your list! Service was friendly and speedy, especially during a weekday lunch hour, and I had to order my go-to's - the pulled chicken sandwich with fries and the cucumber tomato salad. Their house-made mustard "Carolina" bbq sauce is addicting and I seriously want to buy bottles of it to keep at home. If you are looking to start with an appetizer, I highly recommend the fried pickles. Their pickles are simply the best! They've got a bar area to the left upon entrance, or the dining area to the right. Plenty of seating, and they even extended their back patio for outdoor dining. I know I will be back again soon!
